Results can vary from person to person. A thorough consultation is essential, including a discussion of potential side effects such as temporary pigmentation changes, bruising, or swelling.
Does your skin look dull or blotchy—especially around the eyes?
Have you started noticing your complexion looking duller, with brown spots around the eyes that appear patchy and uneven?

As we age, different types of facial pigmentation can start to show up—sometimes gradually, sometimes seemingly overnight.
And while many pigment spots can look similar, the correct diagnosis matters because treatment can be very different depending on the type.
Once pigmentary lesions appear, makeup often can’t fully cover them. And if you don’t wear makeup, the uneven tone is even more noticeable—making skin look less clear, less bright, and giving an overall impression of tiredness and aging.
The patient we’re sharing today came in concerned about multiple pigmentation issues, including melasma, freckles, and dark spots.
She had tried treatments at another clinic 3–4 years ago but didn’t see meaningful improvement. After searching and reading, she decided to visit our clinic for more targeted care.

We don’t run heavy marketing campaigns for pigmentation treatments. Most patients find us through word of mouth and blog searches—and we’re truly grateful for that trust.
Pigmentation treatment results (Before vs. After)
Here is the comparison before and after treatment.

Before: September 20, 2023 – After: May 17, 2024
These photos are shared with consent and are unedited, taken in the same setting.
Results vary by individual, and a detailed consultation is always recommended. Possible side effects include temporary pigmentation changes, bruising, or swelling.
In this case, you can see a very clear improvement—pigmentation that was prominent before treatment is now significantly reduced and cleared after the treatment process.
Why pigmentation treatment can be tricky
We often meet patients who have already tried 10–20 sessions at other clinics with little to no improvement.
That’s because pigmentation treatment can be genuinely challenging—it requires the right diagnosis, the right timing, and the right combination of techniques.
As we’ve said many times, repeating the same “toning” treatment over and over without a plan is often unnecessary and can be frustrating for patients.
In many cases, a more effective approach is to focus on 2–3 well-structured treatment cycles, tailored to your pigmentation type and skin response.
For pigmentation laser treatment at our clinic, we use multiple laser devices in a customized way depending on each patient’s skin condition and the type of pigmentation.

“How many sessions will I need?” (Most common question)
If you’re considering pigmentation treatment, the biggest hesitation is usually the same:
“I keep hearing I’ll need lots of sessions… multiple visits…
How many sessions will I actually need?”
It’s a completely understandable concern—and one we hear every day.

To answer this more clearly, I recorded a short video explaining how we typically plan pigmentation treatment and what affects the number of sessions.
I hope you find it helpful. Thank you.
