Now that early spring is behind us, you’ll probably notice long padded coats slowly disappearing from the streets.

And as the weather warms up, we naturally start wearing lighter tops—meaning our necks (and any neck lines) become much more visible.

The most popular “in-season” treatment right now?
It’s neck wrinkle filler.

Case 24 – Before Neck Wrinkle Filler

Around this time last year, this patient received 2cc of neck wrinkle filler. This year, they came back in for a pre-spring refresh.

They previously used Belotero Soft, and since our clinic uses the same product, we proceeded with Belotero Soft (2cc) again.

Because the patient already had filler experience, they felt comfortable and had fewer concerns going into the treatment.

If you’re new to neck filler and considering it, I hope the Q&A below answers the questions we hear most often.

Most Common Questions Before Neck Filler

Q: How long do the results last?

Most people feel the visible improvement lasts about 3–6 months. Even if it seems like the filler has “gone” after that, comparing with your pre-treatment photos often shows the wrinkles were deeper before.

By around one year, most of the filler has typically dissolved and the neck often looks very close to baseline.

You may see reviews saying neck filler lasts a long time, but in real-world cases it often fades significantly. By this time next year, the lines can become noticeable again.

Q: Will neck wrinkles disappear completely?

Neck filler doesn’t erase wrinkles 100%. Instead, it helps them look softer, shallower, and less obvious.

What we do see consistently is a more youthful-looking neck. Depending on wrinkle depth, filler amount, skin condition, and personal expectations, many patients feel there’s roughly a 60–80% improvement in how noticeable the lines are.

We also check the area under different lighting, since neck lines can look very different depending on shadows.

After assessing from multiple angles, we proceed carefully to keep the result as even and natural as possible.

Two Weeks After the First Session (Before Touch-Up)

Even when filler is placed precisely along the lines during the first session, the neck is a high-movement area. As you go about daily life, the filler naturally settles and blends into a smoother, more natural contour.

A touch-up can help refine any remaining areas and improve overall balance.

Neck Filler – Before vs. After the First Session (Before Touch-Up)

Neck Filler – Before vs. After the First Session (Before Touch-Up)

Before treatment, the neck lines were deeper and more prominent. After filler, the lines look lighter and finer, so they’re much less noticeable overall.

Q: How can I make the results last longer (or look even better)?

This case focused on neck wrinkle filler only, so you can clearly see what kind of improvement is possible with filler alone.

That said, more defined neck lines often come with other aging concerns—like skin laxity or mild sagging. In many cases, combining treatments such as Ulthera, Oligio, or skin Botox can create a helpful synergy: smoother texture, better overall tightening, and potentially longer-lasting results.

For anyone considering neck filler for the first time and feeling a bit nervous, we’re sharing these before-and-after photos with the patient’s consent to help you feel more informed.

Thank you.
