Case 103: Woman in her mid-20s – Acne scar treatment

A woman in her mid-20s with repeated sensitive skin issues, presenting with acne scars, pigmentation marks, and enlarged pores.

Long-standing picked and scratched marks… and the surrounding pigmentation scars.

Do you notice that there’s more hair growing around the acne scar marks?

It’s normal for more hair to grow around areas that have been wounded or injured.

However, in my eyes, beneath those marks, I was certain there was extremely clear, poreless, healthy skin.

Actually, this patient is the child of a nearby clinic director who comes to our dermatology clinic.

One day, they came with their child, who is also a medical student at OO University.

Being a medical student means lots of exams, studying, and high stress.
Sleep is often insufficient, and there are many all-nighters…

It made me realize why such good skin had been affected, which was truly unfortunate.
