Previously, the age range of patients seeking Juvederm Voluma and filler treatments was mostly 30s to 40s, but recently it has expanded to 20s through 60s.
The popularity of Juvederm is truly noticeable these days.
Case 100: Woman in her late 20s

Experience: Forehead filler 4 years ago + jaw Botox 4 years ago
The jaw joint creaked, and the patient had strong resistance to repeating jaw Botox.
They have been considering Sculptra for the past 2 years.
First, we assess the facial contours together.

- Temple hollowness
- Sunken cheeks
- Hollow under-eyes
- Prominent jawline
Note: Hollow under-eyes (3) are essentially the same as sunken front cheeks.
The shadow caused by temple hollowness appeared dark, and since the patient had previous forehead filler treatments, it was deemed best to continue with the same type of filler.
For sunken cheeks and hollow under-eyes (front cheeks), Juvederm Voluma was used.
The prominent jawline had previously caused discomfort with jaw Botox, but we decided to carefully attempt a final refinement using non-surgical contouring.
Before vs. After non-surgical contouring using Juvederm Voluma and other fillers

Using temple fillers and Juvederm Voluma on the cheeks, we softened the prominent peanut-shaped face, cheekbones, and jawline.

Since Juvederm Voluma and non-surgical contouring create very natural results, about 5–10% of patients sometimes say they can’t notice much difference immediately after the procedure.
Of course, this does not include cases where 6 or more syringes are needed but only 1–2 are used.
OOO also initially felt unsure about the difference, but after looking at previous photos, they realized how the shape had improved.
Shortly afterward, the manager shared a warm message from them.

“This is the dermatology clinic of my life.
…Can I cry now?! I’m so grateful!
I will definitely remember this.
We perform facial contour correction using various methods, including:
- Fillers
- Juvederm Voluma
- Ulthera
- Olyssio
- InMode
- Botox
Thank you!”
