Due to repeated acne, there are pigmentation marks, redness, small bumps, and scar traces.
It seems like it’s now time to start organizing and treating the skin.

Case 1: Female in her early 20s

Two years ago, the patient had experience with extraction, scaling, and laser treatments.
The reason they stopped further treatment at that time was because there was no noticeable effect.
Since then, they had been applying steroid ointment consistently,
which led to facial redness, irritation, and itching,
giving the skin an overall weakened feeling.
The case also included steroid-induced acneiform dermatitis along with acne.
Previously, despite receiving laser treatments and scaling, there was no improvement,
so the patient had stopped treatment.
Given the repetitive cycle of acne and residual marks, we explained that treatment needed to begin.
The treatment plan included:
- Scar-removal laser: 10 sessions
- Regeneration laser: 10 sessions
- Skin barrier recovery with LDM: 10 sessions
- Scaling (GA peeling): 5 sessions
The total treatment period at the clinic was 3–4 months.

After the procedure

Even though it’s the same scaling, the same extractions, and the same laser treatments,
the results and satisfaction can vary.
For students who have just finished their college entrance exams,
the procedure I most often recommend is acne scaling and management.

I believe that managing excessive dead skin, clogged pores, and small acne bumps is the most basic and fundamental part of skincare.
At our clinic, for acne, acne marks, and scars, we tailor treatment according to each patient’s depth and stage.
We offer basic extraction and scaling, as well as gentle device-based treatments such as HydraFacial, and
a variety of laser procedures.
For simple discoloration or redness, we may use targeted laser treatments,
and for fine scars or marks, we utilize treatments like CureJet, Potenza, or Juvederm.
Thank you.
