It’s been a little while—so today we’re back with a long-term update on CureB-LOOK scar treatment.
Before: 2023.03.13 | After: 2023.08.12
All photos are shared with patient consent. They are original, unedited images of the same person, taken in the same location under similar conditions.
Please keep in mind that results vary by individual. Before any procedure, we recommend a thorough consultation about possible side effects such as temporary pigmentation, bruising, swelling, and more.
We’ve shared many CureB-LOOK cases before, but this time we intentionally waited so we could show real treatment progress over about 6 months—not just the early “1–3 session” changes.
Why patients choose CureB-LOOK for scar treatment
- Helpful for stubborn, hard-to-treat scars
- Can be used for acne scars, pitted scars, surgical scars, chickenpox scars, shingles scars, and other scar types that often don’t respond well to conventional options like Fraxel, microneedling (“acupuncture needle” treatments), or dot peel procedures.
- Fits into everyday life
- Minimal downtime. In many cases, you don’t need to plan around holidays or take time off work the way you might with more aggressive scar treatments.
- Can address multiple scar types in one plan
- If you have different concerns at once—acne scars in one area, suture scars in another, chickenpox marks, or scars from scratches/impacts—CureB-LOOK can often target them together, making it a practical, efficient approach.
Today’s case is a great example of those benefits in real life.
Case 1: Female, mid-20s

She had a childhood scratch scar along the left nasolabial fold (from being scratched by a rock). She also had acne scars around the nose and eyelids, depressed scars on the cheeks, plus several nail marks and other small pitted areas.
She had already tried multiple treatments, including:
- Acupuncture at a Korean medicine clinic: little to no improvement
- Herbal facial treatments (weekly for 6 months): little to no improvement
- Scar treatments at Mo Clinic (weekly for 3 months last year): little to no improvement
Even after nearly 20 sessions of different scar treatments, she didn’t see meaningful change.
She found CureB-LOOK and visited us after reviewing our clinic’s detailed before-and-after photos and patient reviews.
CureB-LOOK has clear strengths for scar care, and with consistency and patience, we can work toward a result that looks more even, smoother, and naturally blended.
Before vs. after 4 sessions

Note: MarkView is designed primarily for observing pigmentation. For concerns like scars, pores, and facial contour changes (areas we treat frequently), improvements can look less dramatic on the device than they do in person.
One patient said that after more than 20 previous scar treatments, this was the first time they felt their scars were slowly—but clearly—getting better.
Instead of focusing on quick changes after just 1–3 sessions, below we’re sharing the long-term outcome about 6 months into CureB-LOOK treatment.
If you’re considering scar treatment, we hope this case helps you set realistic expectations and make a confident decision.
What long-term CureB-LOOK results can look like
Over time, depressed (pitted) scars may gradually fill in and soften, so they blend more naturally with the surrounding skin.

As collagen remodeling continues, pitted areas can look more level and the overall texture may appear smoother.

And when you view the skin directly (not only through MarkView), the improvement often gives this overall impression:

Before: March 13, 2023 | After: August 12, 2023
All photos are shared with consent and are unedited originals of the same individual, taken in the same location.
Results vary. Please consult with your provider in advance about potential side effects such as pigmentation, bruising, and swelling.
One more benefit: overall skin quality improvement
- Skin improvement
Even before scar changes become obvious, many CureB-LOOK patients tell us they notice everyday skin improvements—things like:
- Smoother texture
- More hydration
- A healthier glow
Compared with many traditional scar treatments that mainly come with warnings about redness, irritation, or scabbing time, CureB-LOOK often leaves patients feeling that their overall skin quality improved as well.
If you look closely at this case’s before-and-after images, you may also notice improvements in pores and skin texture.
Of course, treatment length and results depend on the scar type, depth, and each person’s baseline skin condition. Some cases are challenging—but that’s also why the progress can be so meaningful when it happens.
Thank you for reading.
