Case Review: Lower Face Contouring + Neck Wrinkle Treatment

Today I’m sharing a real treatment case featuring lower face contouring along with neck wrinkle improvement.

Neck lines are one of those concerns many people don’t notice until they see photos or a close-up in the mirror. Personally, I naturally have deep, prominent neck wrinkles, so I also receive neck wrinkle filler on a regular, yearly basis.

Many patients are either not aware of their neck lines or don’t feel treatment is necessary—until they see the changes after just one session. That’s when the difference (and the value of treating the neck) really becomes clear.

Patient Profile

Case: Woman in her 50s — neck wrinkle filler + lifting

She received neck wrinkle filler from me about a year ago and kindly returned for follow-up treatment. She’s also been maintaining her neck with Ulthera treatments, so she understands that neck filler is not “one-size-fits-all”—it requires precision and a doctor with strong technique.

She even drove about an hour to visit (thank you!).

Last year, she had filler only. At that time, I explained that combining filler with a lifting laser (to support elasticity and overall skin quality) often creates even better neck line results.

This visit, she decided to try the lifting laser for the first time, trusting my recommendation.

Let’s look at the before-and-after together.

What Changed?

How does it look to you?

You can clearly see improvement in the looser skin that previously folded over and emphasized the neck lines. As elasticity improves, the neck looks smoother and the lines appear softer.

When the skin loses firmness, wrinkles tend to look deeper. In these situations, filler or Botox alone can be limited—and laser treatment alone can also be limited. The best results often come from using the right combination, in the right proportion, for the individual patient.

Do You Always Need Laser for Neck Wrinkles?

No—not necessarily. Laser should be used only when it’s truly needed, based on your skin condition, wrinkle pattern, and elasticity.

As with many aesthetic treatments, neck wrinkle filler typically benefits from regular maintenance (often yearly). And seeing results like this always reassures me that the plan, design, and technique are on the right track.
