“Why do you look so tired these days?”

Have you ever caught your reflection and felt surprised by how exhausted you look—even when you’re getting enough rest?

As the under-eye area becomes more hollow and the front of the cheeks (anterior cheeks) loses volume, the entire face can start to look sunken, shadowed, and less vibrant.

This is actually one of the most common, natural signs of aging.

Under-eye hollowing and anterior cheek volume loss often begin gradually in your 30s. While these changes happen to everyone, leaving them untreated can make your overall impression look increasingly tired—or even older than you feel.

If you’re looking for a non-surgical option with relatively minimal downtime and visible improvement, dermal filler can be a great choice.

Case Example

✔ Female, mid-30s

She shared that whenever she looked in the mirror, she frequently heard comments like, “You look tired.”

Her main concerns were volume loss in the anterior cheeks and the dark shadowing under the eyes.

She also had mild asymmetry under one eye, where fat became more prominent when smiling. We discussed this thoroughly in advance and performed the procedure with extra care.

Before & After

Before: September 17, 2023 → After: September 25, 2023

These photos were shared with the patient’s consent, taken in the same location, and are unedited originals.

Notice: Results can vary by individual. Side effects such as pigmentation, bruising, swelling, or unevenness may occur. Please make your decision after a thorough consultation with your provider.

What Changed After Anterior Cheek Filler?

Even with anterior cheek filler alone, the overall impression can look noticeably more refreshed. Restoring support in this area helps reduce shadowing, improves facial balance, and brings back a brighter, firmer, more youthful look.

In some cases, combining treatment with nasolabial fold filler can create an even more natural, harmonious result. However, since this was the patient’s first filler procedure, we took a conservative approach and focused primarily on the anterior cheeks.

Aging is natural—but how you choose to manage those changes is personal. If you feel like your face looks tired despite feeling fine, a simple filler treatment may make a meaningful difference.

This option is especially recommended for anyone who wants to look naturally younger—without dramatic or overdone changes. Thank you.
